SHOWCASE GALLERY JURY
- All OCFA members who wish to exhibit their artwork in the organization’s Showcase Gallery must complete a review of their artwork by the Showcase Gallery jury. Jurying is a standard practice for all galleries that ensures accepted artwork meets the basic standards and criteria of the gallery.
- The Showcase Gallery Jury is made up of current members of OCFA. The Jury Committee meets monthly to consider new exhibitors.
- To make an appointment for a jury review of your work, please complete the Jury Review Application (below). The Jury Committee will contact you with a date and time to review your artwork.
JURY PROCEDURE
- On the date and time of your jury review, bring a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 6 artworks, ready to hang and in the condition you would present them for sale in the gallery.
- All artwork submitted for jury review must be your own original work.
- Bring a short bio addressing your art history, motivation, and goals.
- Once the jury review is complete, you will be notified of the jury’s decision within 5 business days.
- Once juried into the gallery, you may participate in any of the gallery’s monthly shows. Participation is not required. You may show your work in as many or as few shows as you like.
